Instead of working on my kids Halloween costumes I scrapped this LO today. I’m feeling motivated to do more scrapping.

Well I haven’t been doing to great on my goal of doing one Disney LO a month but I do have some to show you.

 

 

 

I hope when I finally get this book done these all look good together. I’m starting to wonder if I should have gone a totally different route when starting this book. Perhaps I should have made each LO using the same kit. Too late now! Each LO is linked for credits. Just about everything is Britt-ish Designs though :)

 

I do have one non Disney LO to share too. This is from our Thanksgiving 2 years ago. It’s a 2 page LO.

I’m hoping to find more time to scrapbook. I’d really like to have my Disney book done in time for Christmas. But I have so many more pictures to do. Plus the month of October is crazy busy with a baby shower, 2 birthday’s (one of which is mine!), and Halloween. Oh ya and I’ve got a bunch of primary responsibilities mixed in there too. So here’s to hoping I get the book done in time.

Teacher’s Pet

I decided to scrap the pictures I took last year from Ethan’s first day of preschool. He loved school and was so excited to be old enough to go to class. I adore the top picture in this LO.

The Great Outdoors

Ohana flashback

Britt-ish Designs does a fun challenge each month where she takes one of her older kits and puts it on sale and then if you use the kit to make a page you can be entered to win a gift certificate. This month is her cute kit Ohana.

I used this kit to scrap our day at the beach when we went on our Disney trip in 2009. I think it turned out great! And its one more page down for my Disney book!

Such fun memories and the greatest part is watching my kids look at these photos. I really need to get this book done. I know they will just love it and look at it for hours.

Today’s pictures come from our fun day at the carnival. I use to go to the carnival every year as a kid so taking my kids to the carnival brought back a flood of childhood memories. Sort of one of those full circle moments.

The picture of my husband and son makes me laugh. You can tell that they are both thinking “why are you making us smile for one more picture!”

Capture the Joy Monday’s

Today’s pictures comes from our fun weekend. Friday night we went to South Fork park with my sister and her husband for a fun picnic dinner and s’mores. We played soccer for a while and enjoyed the beautiful weather and gorgeous mountains. Then Saturday night we went out to dinner. I really enjoy weekends like this where we are able to have lots of family time. I love this picture of me and my little girl. She is such a sweetheart. While waiting for our food she grabbed me by my neck and pulled me over to her for a tender hug. I just had to have my husband grab a quick photo of this.

Disney trip pages

Our first family trip to Disneyland was in 2009. It’s now 2012 and I still haven’t scrapped my picture from this trip. So I’ve made a goal to work on at least on LO a month that is all about our first trip to Disneyland.

Here are 2 LOs that I’ve done and I’m pretty happy about them. The first one I LOVE! I used a template and kit from GG Digital Designs. It’s so bright and pretty and I think it went great with these pictures.

The second page I did as part of Britt-ish Designs flashback challenge. I used her Galactic Alliance kit which is perfect for all your star wars photos.

Today’s picture comes from an exciting time in my little guys life. This picture was taken at his preschool graduation which means he has now finished his first year of preschool! Mom & Dad are so proud of our little graduate.

Each Monday I'll be posting a picture (with me in it) of something that brought me joy from the previous week. Sometimes I'll have a story to go with my picture & sometimes I'll let the picture do all the talking.

Today I want share this picture of me, my kids and my grandma. I love her so much & cherish the time I have with her.

My all time favorite

I've been scrapbooking for a long time. If I count my days of paper scrapping I think I've been scrapbooking for 15 years or so. My mom has always been a scrapbooker so I started young and followed her footsteps. But thanks to a dear friend I found digital scrapbooking and was for every changed. The point of this long story is that in all my years of scrapbooking I'm not sure that I have totally LOVED a completed a page...until this one. I'm not sure if it's because of the special occasion, or the kit or the template but I love it! It is so near and dear to me.
