Capture the Joy Monday’s

Today’s pictures comes from our fun weekend. Friday night we went to South Fork park with my sister and her husband for a fun picnic dinner and s’mores. We played soccer for a while and enjoyed the beautiful weather and gorgeous mountains. Then Saturday night we went out to dinner. I really enjoy weekends like this where we are able to have lots of family time. I love this picture of me and my little girl. She is such a sweetheart. While waiting for our food she grabbed me by my neck and pulled me over to her for a tender hug. I just had to have my husband grab a quick photo of this.

Disney trip pages

Our first family trip to Disneyland was in 2009. It’s now 2012 and I still haven’t scrapped my picture from this trip. So I’ve made a goal to work on at least on LO a month that is all about our first trip to Disneyland.

Here are 2 LOs that I’ve done and I’m pretty happy about them. The first one I LOVE! I used a template and kit from GG Digital Designs. It’s so bright and pretty and I think it went great with these pictures.

The second page I did as part of Britt-ish Designs flashback challenge. I used her Galactic Alliance kit which is perfect for all your star wars photos.

Today’s picture comes from an exciting time in my little guys life. This picture was taken at his preschool graduation which means he has now finished his first year of preschool! Mom & Dad are so proud of our little graduate.

Capture the Joy

Each Monday I'll be posting a picture (with me in it) of something that brought me joy from the previous week. Sometimes I'll have a story to go with my picture & sometimes I'll let the picture do all the talking.

Today I want share this picture of me, my kids and my grandma. I love her so much & cherish the time I have with her.

My all time favorite

I've been scrapbooking for a long time. If I count my days of paper scrapping I think I've been scrapbooking for 15 years or so. My mom has always been a scrapbooker so I started young and followed her footsteps. But thanks to a dear friend I found digital scrapbooking and was for every changed. The point of this long story is that in all my years of scrapbooking I'm not sure that I have totally LOVED a completed a page...until this one. I'm not sure if it's because of the special occasion, or the kit or the template but I love it! It is so near and dear to me.
